2.6. Fluid Engineering and Functions

2.6.1. Mud Weight Up

Task is used to perform calculations for mud weighting up. Calculations are available for two cases: mud volume might be increased or should be unchanged.

Input Values
Mud Volume Increase; Constant. The way of operation, is it permissible to increase the volume of the mud or whether it should be unchanged
Initial Mud Weight Density of the mud before the operation
Desired Mud Weight Density of the mud after the operation
Sp.Gr. Weighting Material Specific gravity of weighting material
Initial Mud Volume Volume of the mud before the operation
Results
Final Volume Volume of the mud after operation. In case if Mud Volume is Constant is equal Initial Mud Volume otherwise greater
Weight of Weighting Material Required amount of weighting material
Increase Volume Difference between initial and final volumes of mud. Greater than 0.0 in case if Mud Volume is equal Increase
Volume to be Jetted Volume to be jetted. Greater than 0.0 in case if Mud Volume is equal Constant
